MOONG DAL DOSA RECIPE

A tasty and delicious dosa recipe of yellow spit moong dal and rice which can be served with any chutney of your choice for wholesome breakfast.Make this non fermented crispy dosa for your breakfast.

Moong dal is rich in protein help us to lower cholesterol it contains loads of vitamins and minerals also helps in weight loss.and easy to digest so anyone can eat this dosa.
We can serve moong dal dosa with coconut chutney samber and tomato onion chutney.
This recipe is diabetic friendly also.

Equipment used :
Mixer grinder
Nonstick or iron flat pan
Wooden spatula
Ingredients 
  • 1 cup green moong dal (split )
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 3 green chilli
  • oil for cooking
  • water as required
  • DIRECTIONS FOR MOONG  DAL  DOSA RECIPE:
  • Take 1 cup  spit moong dal and wash it two time and soak this dal for 4-5 hours or overnight.
  • Once dal is soaked you can grind it into mixer or grinder while grinding you can add little water
  • Add 1/4 cup rice flour to the moong dal  while grinding or after grinding is also fine.
  • Now add salt as per taste
  • Add 1/2 inch ginger paste and 3 green chili paste.
  • You can add fresh finely chopped coriander also.
  • Add appropriate water and adjust dosa batter consistency.
  • Preheat a pan over a medium heat and drizzle some water on it to maintain temperature and wipe pan  with tissue paper
  • Now pour a ladleful of  moond dal batter on the pan 
  • Spread the batter in a circular way
  • Drizzle the ghee around, inside and outer edges of dosa .
  • After few minuts when outer edges of dosa starts turning golden brown fold the dosa and serve hot with coconut chutney.and sambar
